Tom Lowe, who was a breakout star at last summer's Big Wave Tour event in Mexico, again proved his mettle closer to home turf Sunday at the Nazaré Challenge. In the final minutes of his Round One heat, the Cornish surfer found this gem, of which commentator Wasilewski said, "That was one of the more beautiful waves I've seen through the day." Plus, it scored well, too: Lowe earned a 5.50, solidifying his run to the Semifinals.
