Out of anyone at the Maui Women's Pro, Bianca Buitendag has the most pressure on her shoulders to perform. Because she's currently ranked below the No. 10 cutoff to requalify, the South African has to win the contest in order to keep her spot on the women's Samsung Galaxy Championship Tour.
Friday in do-or-die battle against Lakey Peterson, Buitendag came one step closer to achieving that goal. After lagging for the entire heat, she overtook the lead in the final minutes to win and move on safely to the Quarterfinals. Following the battle, she broke it all down with Strider.
