The first stop on the European Junior Qualifying Series (QS), a JQS1000 in Costa da Caparica April 1-4, is integrated with the first edition of a greater sports and cultural event – the Caparica Primavera Surf Fest.
This annual event features three other local and national surf and bodyboard championships, aiming to promote the pristine conditions at Costa da Caparica and celebrate the sport of surfing in Portugal with crowds of all ages and levels.
During the 10 days of the festival, which begins March 26, the waves of ParaÃÂso Beach will welcome over 500 athletes during the day.
At night a full Portuguese musical lineup will take over the central stage with 20 DJ´s and 10 bands to make this festival's first edition a classic spring music gathering.
