Plus, Lakey Peterson showcased her CT veteran power alongside newcomers Luana Silva, Isabella Nichols, and Bettylou Sakura Johnson all en route to the Quarterfinals. Men's Round of 32 duels followed and fireworks ensued to display a masterclass from Ethan Ewing and Kanoa Igarashi with progressive performances courtesy of Seth Moniz and Joel Vaughan. Now, World No. 1 Italo Ferreira, two-time WSL Champ Filipe Toledo, and more await to fight for their Round of 16 spots when competition resumes.
