COOLANGATTA, Queensland, Australia (Wednesday, March 12, 2025) - The World Surf League (WSL) and GWM are excited to announce that their partnership will expand in 2025 to include the Title Sponsorship of the inaugural ‘Aussie Treble,' which will crown the best performers across the three Australian-based Championship Tour (CT) events this season.
The ‘GWM Aussie Treble' will see competitors accumulate points across events at Bells Beach in Victoria, Snapper Rocks on the Gold Coast, and Margaret River in Western Australia, with the top-ranked man and woman winning a GWM Tank 300 after the three events.
"The WSL is extremely excited to welcome back three Championship Tour events to Australia in 2025 and celebrate this with the GWM Aussie Treble," said WSL APAC President, Andrew Stark. "Celebrating the standout performers across all three Aussie CT events is a new initiative and something that wouldn't be possible without the ongoing and increased support from GWM. The WSL would like to thank GWM for continuing to get behind professional surfing in Australia in 2025 and beyond."
GWM will also continue as the Official Automotive Partner of WSL Australia in 2025, with a presence at all four major events in Australia, most notably the Gold Coast Pro, where GWM will be the presenting partner. 2025 will see the addition of the GWM Heat Recap broadcast integration, along with the GWM Aussie Treble Leaderboard across all three Australian CT events.

Returning to the Championship Tour in 2025 is Aussie surfing icon Sally Fitzgibbons, who will continue as a GWM ambassador for the season as she looks to claim her maiden World Title.
The 2025 GWM Aussie Treble will kick off at the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach Presented by Bonsoy, on April 18 and conclude by May 27 at the Western Australia Margaret River Pro.
