In a historic moment for Indonesian surfing, Bronson Meydi claimed Indonesia's first-ever World Junior Championship Title with a insane aerial performance. Right off of the buzzer, Bronson set the tone with a massive air, scoring a 7. He continued his aerial assault, earning a perfect 10 by linking two flawless air reverses. Runner-up Vincent fought back with an impressive 9.07, showcasing the form that had made him the standout surfer all week. However, Bronson sealed the victory with an incredible alley-oop that earned him an 8.80.
