The pitch was between 1m and 1.5m, which was enough for the an action-packed day of surfing. The men's round of 64 started with heat 7. After 12 o'clock, the southwest wind started to blow in earnest, and the waves were noticeable. The success or failure of this wave is determined by how well you can assess the wave and take action.
