Queensland's Ethan Ewing grew up on the idyllic, remote island just north of Australia's Gold Coast, and at a young age showed signs of the mature, polished style for which he's come to be known, a mix of Mick Fanning's precision and speed, and Andy Irons' spontaneity and swagger on-rail and above the lip.
After Winning the 2016 World Junior Championship and qualifying for the ‘CT the same year, Ethan has become a fan favorite to watch, as well as a World Title contender. While his polished point surfing was proven uneatable at J-Bay in 2022 and Bells in 2023, his backside tuberiding is just as impressive, evidenced by his freesurfs at places like Cloudbreak.
