Well, here it is: There are two Red Bull Airborne qualifying events coming up in Australia. And it's time to get your entries in before all the spots are gone.
The winners of these events - at Maroubra on January 28 and the Gold Coast on either February 8 or 9 - will secure a spot in the final at the first Red Bull Airborne event when the Championship Tour kicks off in March.

The Red Bull Airborne events have provided some of the most captivating moments of the competitive season - think Matt Meola sending it in heaving French beachbreaks or even Italo Ferreira teeing off on a banner year that saw him secure the World Title with a win at the Red Bull Airborne Gold Coast.
For the event at Maroubra, entries close 5pm Friday 24 January. If you want to surf the Gold Coast event, entries need to be in no later than 12pm 1 February. You must be over 16 years of age on the day of the event, which is open to men and women. Each air will be scored on a 0-10 scale, and there may be multiple airs per wave.
