Waves of the Day: Watch the Best of the Tahiti Pro

Finals day was completed Sunday at the Tahiti Pro Teahupo'o in shifty but workable conditions. Gabriel Medina earned a 7.33 on his last scoring wave, taking the win over Owen Wright in the Final. But Owen Wright will be leaving Tahiti more than satisfied with his performance having earned one of the highest single-wave scores of the event with a 9.17 during his Quarterfinal battle against Wade Carmichael. The Australian has now moved up to spot No. 6 on the Jeep Leaderboard with Medina advancing to World No. 2. Brazilian Filipe Toledo will hold onto the Jeep Leader jersey heading into the next event.

The CT will now head to Lemoore, CA for Stop No. 8. With Filipe Toledo leading the charge, watch the world's best compete at the Surf Ranch Pro September 6-9.
