"I just love being out there, I love Teahupo'o," said the former World Champ, "It makes me comfortable." Above all other stops on the Championship Tour, the Brazilian exudes confidence in Tahiti, relishing the opportunity to unleash the full depths of his forehand repertoire. "I feel confident and I've got a good board under my feet, but everyone is capable of winning this event," he said, "Especially in these tricky conditions it makes it a little harder, but I've trained hard, so I'm happy." A happy, confident Medina is not good news for the rest of the World Title chase pack or the rest of the CT.
