Bruce Irons has been dominating Pipe ever since he was scrawny and scrappy teenager. Though the former CT star is one of Kauai's favorite sons, the hallowed right at Pipe has been his stomping ground for nearly two decades now. While he's never been one for battling crowds Irons, who's now a stately 37, needn't worry much about them these days. With the respect he's earned crowds tend to part the moment he swings and paddles. That makes him a pretty big threat in the GoPro Challenge, the famous contest within a contest held each Hawaiian season. Bruce has entered a variety of samples for consideration these past few weeks. This is entry No. 4...And it's a good one.
