We anticipated a big shakeup in the QS rankings at The Billabong Pro Cascais, and we got it. The third QS10000 event of the season turned into a ferocious battle, as CT stars looking to secure their spots on next year's CT came to compete for "insurance" purposes against a stacked field of QS grinders. In the end, Brazilian upstart Jesse Mendes earned an emotional win over CT veteran Jeremy Flores. They both cracked the QS Top 10 as a result of their efforts, but they weren't the only standouts on the final day of competition.
