World No. 31 Jeremy Flores scored an 8.23 for his fast and powerful combo on a medium righthander in his Round Four heat at the Billabong Pro Cascais. Flores has a big task ahead of him if he wants to keep his spot on tour for 2017: A good result in Cascais could bump him up the Qualifying Series ranks, where he's currently No. 18 (eight spots below the cutoff line).
So far in Portugal, his chances are looking good. After winning in Round Four he won again in Round Five, and will compete in the Quarters when competition resumes.
