Florence's Late Charge Moves Him Past Wilkinson in Title Race

John John Florence made a late Round Five charge in his match against Joel Parkinson. His 9.33 earned him the heat win, but more importantly, the ratings lead. By advancing to the Quarterfinals Florence surpassed Matt Wilkinson on the Jeep Leaderboard to become World No. 1. But with Gabriel Medina hot on his heels in Tahiti, Florence's lead is tenuous.
