World No. 1 Matt Wilkinson survived a tough Round Two match against local wildcard Hira Teriinatoofa at the Billabong Pro Tahiti. For Wilkinson, it was a crucial win for his title hopes. Both John John Florence and Gabriel Medina, who are hot on his heels, have already advanced to Round Three. Wilko's job doesn't get any easier from here, however. He's up against Bruno Santos in Round Three. Santos is a former event winner and multiple winner of the Tahiti trials.
