As if nine-point rides were falling from the sky, Gabriel Medina (BRA) earned yet another one, with this near-perfect 9.83 in Round 4 of the Quiksilver Pro France. The score moved into his top two of the heat, letting him discard a 9.40 from his final score. Needless to say, he dominated and won the heat, easily directly to the Quarterfinals.
