2015 Franito Pro Junior, final stop of the men and women's European Junior Qualifying Series, starting this Wednesday, September 16.
Four exciting Junior stops have taken the Old Continent's crowd of young surfing talent to Caparica and Espinho in Portugal, Sopela in the Basque Country, and Lacanau in France already this season before the final showdown coming up in the Canary Islands.
The current regional rankings see Natxo Gonzalez (EUK) 19, and Juliette Brice (FRA) 16, lead the show coming up to the final stop with numerous new faces trying to push them out of first place and take the coveted crown.
Adding to the pressure of competing for the ultimate regional crown, these young surfers will battle it out for only a few tickets to attend the international final which will be hosted at the righthand pointbreak of Ribeira d'Ilhas in Ericeira next January.
After competing in various beachbreak conditions throughout the continental tour, athletes will now have the opportunity to shine at one of Europe's prime surfing locations, the beautiful lefthand pointbreak setup of San Juan, on Lanzarote Island.
